The weather and high tide has made it tricky to get new pictures... Friday was a fun day -- after the Hood blimp passed by, the kids headed out to the float for capsizing drills. They followed up all that hard work with a lively Sardine relay race. With 7 members on each team, the race was on... One member would sail out around the buoy, and then sail back to the float to pick up the next team member... The two would sail out and around, and come and pick up a third. By the end of the race, you could barely count all 7 heads (or all those legs or arms!!) in the boat. Clearly, everyone won, because it was written all over their faces. Even as each boat went down, it was a hoot watching them work together to figure out a way to get back to the float.
